Title of Paper
Organic superconductor

Purpose of the Research
my aims research is to investigate the electronic and magnetic properties of λ-(BETS)2GaCl4 under physical and chemical pressure in order to establish its general P-T phase diagram.
Research Summary
The superconductor is one of the milestones of modern physics. If applicable at room temperature it will resolve green energy since it conducts electricity without energy loss. In the superconducting (SC) state the conducting electrons become pairs, known as the Cooper pair and they are in the condensation state. There are two types called conventional and unconventional superconductors. For the conventional superconductor, the formation of Cooper pair is mediated by phonon explained by BCS theory, whereas in the unconventional superconductor, the Cooper pair formation still under active investigation, but the strong scenario is that involving the magnetic fluctuation mediated the Cooper pair. In the unconventional types, the research on establishing pressure-temperature (P-T) phase diagram has been studied intensively to understand the mechanism of organic superconductivity. For example, P-T phase diagram of so-called (TMTSF)2X series and κ-(ET)2X series have been widely studied. On the other hand the phase diagram of λ-type family is still an active research. So far, the latest P-T phase diagram of λ-(D)2GaCl4 (D=ET, STF, BETS) has been reported which shows that the λ-(BETS)2GaCl4 shows its intriguing properties such as the superconductivity appear in ambient pressure unlike other organics superconductors, for example in (TMTSF)2PF6 or k-HgBr. The research on establishing P-T phase diagram of λ-(BETS)2GaCl4 gain much interest since the behavior of the metallic state is differs with that of other non-Fermi liquid system like high-Tc superconductors , (TMTSF)2PF6 or k-HgBr. Therefore, my aims research is to investigate the electronic and magnetic properties of λ-(BETS)2GaCl4 under physical and chemical pressure in order to establish its general P-T phase diagram.
Future Prospects
It might be helpful to understand the mechanism of Cooper pair formation in the unconventional superconductors, in which might be showing universality among other unconventional types in organic superconductors in term of its metallic properties.
