Prof. Gabriele Trovato on German television

Prof. Gabriele Trovato made a guest appearance in RTL, German television channel, and WAZ, German newspaper, for presenting the robots created in SIT and distributed to German care homes.

The project in question, called e-ViTA, is a Horizon 2020 EU-Japan project in which SIT is a member of the Japanese side of the consortium. It is supported by Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) of Japan (Grant no. JPJ000595). The European side is led by Siegen University in Germany. The project aims to support healthy and active ageing through the use of AI and robots, also thanks to Japanese technology.
