Shibaura Institute of Technology (Koto-ku, Tokyo; Takeo Suzumi,The Chairman of the Board of Directors ) celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2027 with the opening of the "Shiro Arimoto Memorial Corner," an exhibition facility on its Toyosu campus to honor the achievements of founder Shiro Arimoto and his family and to introduce the history of the institute. On January 29, 2024, we held an unveiling ceremony to welcome members of the Arimoto family.

The facility includes a corner introducing founder Shiro Arimoto and his family, a theater that traces the history of the university by recreating a classroom scene from 100 years ago, a chronological table that traces the history of the university and displays valuable materials from each era, an archive gallery where visitors can select and view videos and materials using touch panels, and a permanent exhibition space with a school system map and other exhibits. and a special exhibition space that changes its contents periodically. In the permanent exhibition space, there is a manuscript of the school song written by Shiro Arimoto himself and commissioned by two masters, Kitahara Hakushu and Yamada Kosaku.

Shibaura Institute of Technology has formulated the Centennial SIT Action for the 100th anniversary of its founding and is implementing various initiatives. In order to introduce a new educational system that takes into account recent social conditions.
