Participation report for ATU-Net International Staff Week 2023

From June 12-15, SIT Division of Global Initiatives Officer, Reina Nishioka, participated in the ATU-Net International Staff Week 2023 hosted by Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia (AJCUI), Jakarta, Indonesia.
ATU-Net (Asia Technological University Network) consists of 31 member institutions from 9 countries (as of June 2023, ATU-Net Website). SIT is the only Japanese university to be a member.
The International Staff Week was a workshop that included events such as discussions, plenary sessions, and presentations and around 40 staff participated this year. Nishioka was a presenter and made a presentation that introduced SIT and its support for International Students and the Q&A session was lively and interactive.
By participating in this face-to-face International Staff Week, the relationship among ATU-Net members was further strengthened and the possibility for new collaboration is expected.
