SIT COVID-19 infection report

On Friday, July 17, a student of SIT was found to be infected with COVID-19 infection.

The student entered the Toyosu Campus (mainly in the Research Building) on July 13 and 15 with permission. Therefore, we will conduct a survey of the behavior history of the student and disinfect the place and we request that those who are in contact with the affected student stay at home.
→The disinfection of Toyosu Campus was completed on July 18.

Due to the occurrence of this incident, all personnel are prohibited from entering the Toyosu Campus.

Period of prohibition: From Saturday, July 18, 2020, referring to the opinions of relevant administrative agencies, until the safety is confirmed.
→Now that the disinfection process has been completed as described above, the ban on faculty and staff  entering the campus will be lifted on July 22. For students in their fourth year and above, the ban will be lifted on July 27 (application from the faculty advisor is required).

We will continue to investigate the situation, and in cooperation with relevant administrative agencies to prevent the spread of infection.We ask for your understanding and consideration for respecting the human rights and protecting the personal information of infected people and their families.
