Thirty-nine International Students Participate in Semester Exchange Program

Since September, thirty-nine international students have been participating in the second semester of the Course-Taking Sandwich Program (Semester Exchange Program).
This program allows international students to study at The Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT) for one or two semesters in order to complete their coursework. This program continued on after the first semester, with 17 students enrolled, despite the limitations posed by the Corona epidemic. In early September, we held an online orientation for new students, where Division of Global Initiatives staff provided information about online exchange events and current students provided information and tips on how to participate in online classes.
One international student who participated in the orientation commented, "Compared to other universities in Asia, SIT was the best choice for adding value to my area of study".
