SIT provides 3rd Dose of COVID Vaccine

In March, SIT (Shibaura Institute of Technology) provided the third round of COVID vaccinations (Takeda/Moderna) to 4,434 students at its Toyosu and Omiya campuses. Since it was necessary to know the required number of vaccinations in advance, the vaccination
was made by appointment only, using the vaccination reservation website operated by the university. Due to the earlier start of regional vaccinations and spring break, however, those receiving this third round of vaccinations was less than the 6,868 who
received the second one.
Providing the first three vaccinations within fiscal year 2021 enabled our graduates to be ready to start their new lives. Thanks to the help of outside contractors, SIT was able to successfully complete the third round of vaccinations in spite of manpower shortages during its business end-of-year schedule.
