New Shibaura Campus Location Finalized

SIT has decided to relocate all of its current Shibaura Campus (Minato-ku) operations to its Toyosu Campus (Koto-ku) by mid-September 2022.
 
At the Shibaura Campus location, SIT will operate an income-producing enterprise (hereinafter referred to as "Shibaura Institute of Technology Building") by renting-out all of the existing Shibaura Building. The purpose of this project is to secure a stable source of income that will serve as the foundation of the university's operations by implementing a revenue-generating business that will serve as the basis for educational and research activities and facility planning while preserving the "land of the founding of the university".
 
An overview of the Shibaura Campus relocation process is as follows:
Goal: Relocate the Shibaura Campus Faculty of Design Engineering, Corporate Office, and Alumni Association Office to the Toyosu Campus.
Scheduled Completion:  Mid-September 2022. 
Classes to begin at the Toyosu Campus:  from the second semester.
 
The location of the SIT official corporate address is scheduled to be changed from Minato-ku, Tokyo to Koto-ku, Tokyo, subject to the approval of the Board of Trustees regarding the change of basic regulations (act of endowment) at the meeting to be held in July 2022.
