On September 20, an unveiling ceremony was held to commemorate the completion of the major building project at Shibaura Institute of Technology Toyosu Campus. Many people attended, including guests from the local community and private schools.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held in the main lecture room of the Toyosu Campus. Chancellor Takeo Suzumi and President Jun Yamada expressed their gratitude to the local community, and all concerned and pledged to strengthen and develop Shibaura's research
capabilities.

The ceremony then moved to the first floor of the new Centennial Main Building, where the unveiling of a "Datsun Model 16 Sedan (1937)" was held. Mr. Tokujiro Sasaki, the graduate of the Department of Mechanical Engineering who donated the car, gave a
congratulatory speech, and a commemorative photo was taken with the head of the Automobile Club.

This was followed by a program of events including a tour of the headquarters building by students, a presentation of results by language training participants, and an AR sports "HADO" demonstration.
