Ambassador, Embassy of India in Tokyo visits SIT

The Advanced PBL, a further development of the Global PBL, was conducted over 10 days from December 4 to 13, 2022. This program included four prestigious Asian universities, IIT Madras, IIIT Design and Manufacturing, Kancheepuram, University Putra Malaysia (UPM), and University Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), as well as SIT. Approximately 50 graduate students, researchers, and professors participated in the program and were divided into several groups to conduct research activities on the theme of global warming. Data were collected and analyzed using the Techno Plaza (Common Equipment Center) at SIT and experimental equipment in each laboratory. Valid research results drawn up were published in a paper under the guidance of faculty members from the participating schools.
In his closing remarks, H.E. Mr. Sibi George, Ambassador of India in Tokyo, came to the school as a guest speaker and He delivered a message of welcome for India-Japan exchange, saying, "From now on, India and Japan should promote student exchanges".
