SIT has concluded an agreement with Thaksin University in Thailand for university collaboration

A signing ceremony was held on May 23, and President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nathapong Chitniratna, Vice President for Research and Innovation Assoc. Prof. Dr. Samak Kaewsuksaeng, and a total of 10 faculty and staff members from the university visited SIT and engaged in lively discussions with President Prof. Dr. Yamada, Vice President Prof. Dr. Takasaki, and other faculty members about the implementation of the exchange plan.
This year, two faculty members from Thaksin University are scheduled to visit SIT to conduct research exchanges with faculty members, and it is hoped that this will develop into a student exchange (acceptance and dispatch) in the future.

It was renamed to its current name, Thaksin University, in 1995.
TSU has 12 faculties on two campuses in southern Thailand, with the main campus, Songkhla Campus, located in Songkhla Province.
TSU is a member of WTUN (World Technology Universities Network), of which SIT is the only Japanese university to be a member.
