Field Robot Laboratory
Develop intelligent robots useful to humans and society
Our goal is to train engineers who can work to on the recently topical "Society 5.0" and on technologies needed to advance artifical intelligence, the internet of things and robotics. We are also researching how to apply these base technologies in intelligent robots that are useful to humans and society. Specifically, we are researching and developing heavy robotic machinery that can work in places that are dangerous for humans, and autonomous drones to perform maintenance on structures in places humans cannot reach.
