Multimedia Information Network Laboratory
Let's realize user-centric information network to enrich our lives
Our laboratory has been conducting research and development on various communication technologies in order to realize convenient and comfortable information networks. Let's study user-centric information network technologies that will enrich our lives! Research fields include community networks automatically formed around users, mobile ad hoc networks autonomously connected in emergency cases, and internet of things (IoT) connecting everything around us to the Internet.

FOR SOCIETY
The results of our research are involved with the core of information communication networks, such as the internet. Most of the communications are not visible, but we are assisting in the comfortable communications of people from behind the scene.
RESEARCH THEMES
- Development of location-oriented communication systems with peer-to-peer network technology
- Hierarchical routing on mobile ad hoc network and delay tolerant network in a disaster case
- Vehicular ad hoc network routing for autonomous driving and road safety
