Multiscale Solid Mechanics Laboratory
Research on reliability analysis, which is highly evaluated in Japan and abroad
Our laboratory is currently measuring and analyzing material properties at the micro-level using a micromechanics test method we developed and applying the results in designing various industrial products through computer simulations. Reliability analysis methods developed by our laboratory have become an international standard, winning high evaluations in Japan and abroad. Recently, our laboratory was in the spotlight for developing a new material composed of nanoparticles.
