Structural and Earthquake Engineering Laboratory
Design building structures to protect life and property from disasters
KABAYAMA Lab. works to contribute to the maintenance and improvement of comfortable spaces in architecture. Several researches related to structural engineering are conducted in order to protect people's lives and property from disasters such as earthquakes and typhoons. Specifically the following topics: Investigate damaged buildings by earthquakes or typhoons in order to find out the cause of the damage. For the existing building, evaluate the seismic performance and propose improvement measures. To propose a 欧洲杯足彩app下载_欧洲杯下注平台-【直播*网站】 ideal design method, estimate the dynamic behavior of buildings during earthquakes or typhoons. To Recommend appropriate procedures for maintenance, evaluate the structural performance of valuable historic buildings.
