Education and Welfare Studies Laboratory
Resolving issues related to children and helping them grow up in an enriched environment
The Education and Welfare Studies Laboratory mainly consists of students who aim to become school teachers and research education and welfare. This laboratory analyzes and interprets phenomena surrounding children using methods of qualitative (participant observation and interviews) and literature research (reading historical materials). Most seminar students are involved in the field, such as learning support, and connect their various experiences to their research. I am researching the support for children growing up outside their families (foster parents, children's homes, and independent living group homes).
