Does SIT have a credit hour policy? I would like to know if there is anything I can refer to for credit transfer.
At SIT, one credit is awarded for the 45 hours of that required coursework as the standard way of calculation; it is awarded for other equivalent workloads, depending on the format, the overall effectiveness, and the necessary study hours outside lecture hours of a course. Thus, credits are calculated as follows:
(1) For a lecture or a practice course, 1 credit is awarded for every 15-30 hours of class meeting time.
(2) For a laboratory course, exercise course, or a practical-skill course, 1 credit is awarded for every 30-45 hours of class meeting time.
